CABLE BEACH TRIATHLON

The Broome Tri Sports Association was established by a small hard core group of triathletes in 2009. In 2010 the club had eight members who hosted 61 competitors in the inaugural Cable Beach Triathlon. The strength of the club has ebbed and flowed over the past ten years, but with the help of some generous corporate sponsorship and a dedicated committee it has steadily grown with over 170 athletes taking part in the 2020 event.

2021 saw the addition of the Life & Soul F45 Broome Dash for Cash and in 2024 an Open Water Swim will be added to the program as the weekend grows the event into the state's premier winter multi-sport event.
